• One (1) Placeholder Spec

The placeholder spec can be named whatever you like it to be, but it gives you the ability to route pipe, and know what the fittings are, without giving information on what is to be ordered. With my experience in the Industry, I know Specs are usually created at the same time that there is modelling, so with my Placeholder Specs, you can have the freedom to route pipe straight away, and in case the Fabrication Isometrics are produced and sent out for purchasing, the buyers can’t buy what’s shown, because its just a placeholder. Using the tools in Plant3D, you can route the placeholder spec, and then change them to the proper production specs at a later date.
